The house was originally built in 1920. Over the decades, it has been extended to both the east and west, and its appearance and internal layout have evolved considerably.
The house underwent extensive renovation and modernisation in recent years, transforming it into four homes: three modern studio apartments on the upper floor and a separate apartment on the ground floor.
The upper-floor apartments feature high, open ceilings, plenty of natural light and private outdoor spaces, while the building retains the character and proportions of an older Vík home.
The photograph shows the house in 2013, before its most recent renovation.
